What is Good

- tender morning light

- this quiet place to write

- letting go of perfectionism

- my heavy clay coffee cup

- geese honking their return

- soft-spoken daffodils

- new books from the library

- packing up to drive south

- wearing a favorite t-shirt

- time set aside for rest and play

  1. I also love the writing on the hand! Especially the one by the wedding band and touching Gussie’s soft body. And the “if there was no last time we’d hold hands” is so beautiful and provocative, I think it deserves a poem of its own.
