- tender morning light - this quiet place to write - letting go of perfectionism - my heavy clay coffee cup - geese honking their return - soft-spoken daffodils - new books from the library - packing up to drive south - wearing a favorite t-shirt - time set aside for rest and play
I like this format – it is similar to a gratitude list.
I like how you described daffodils as soft-spoken.

A wonderful, evocative list of what is good. Such poetic writing–that “tender morning light” and “soft-spoken daffodils” especially stand out to me.

I also love the writing on the hand! Especially the one by the wedding band and touching Gussie’s soft body. And the “if there was no last time we’d hold hands” is so beautiful and provocative, I think it deserves a poem of its own.

The pauses that are required to create such a list are priceless. Thanks for sharing these moments of light. ❤️
